My graduation project is a personal investigation of identity from a post-humanist perspective. This has resulted in three self-portraits in which I give expression to my multifaceted identity in the form of an avatar.
The self-portraits were generated in a 3D program and it draws inspiration from a phenomenon in gaming, known as “skins”, in which one and the same character has different appearances that illuminate unique characteristics. I show three of all the sides of my identity: courage, playfulness and vulnerability.
